Marlis Schweitzer

Marlis Schweitzer is Associate Professor in the Department of Theatre at York University. She is the author of When Broadway Was the Runway: Theater, Fashion and American Culture (University of Pennsylvania Press, 2009) and has published articles in Theatre Journal, Theatre Survey, Theatre Research International, TDR, Canadian Theatre Review, Theatre Research in Canada, and the Journal of American Drama and Theatre. She is co-editor (with Laura Levin, Melanie Bennett, and Richard Gough) of the “Performing Publics” issue of Performance Research 16.2.
